Various damage detection methods have been proposed by several researchers in the past few decades. Amongst them, the efficiency of mode shapes in detecting damage has been demonstrated by many researchers when further processed. In most cases, the processing involves expansion or reduction of the mode shape data. However, vital information that are damage-prints are often lost during processing of the mode shape data. In addition, most of these processes involve long and complex computation, thus, leading to inaccurate damage identification. In this study, a simple and fast damage identification technique is proposed to identify damage in beam structures. Interval analysis is applied to the mode shapes of a beam structure in the damaged and undamaged states. The interval situations of each of the beam's segment via mode shape are derived to obtain the upper and lower bounds and the derived bounds are compared. To establish a relationship for identify the damaged point, a possibility of damage existence is defined for each segment of the beam structure. The mode shape increment is defined as the increase in the mode shape value. Furthermore, a damage measure index that provide enhance damage information is obtained as the product of the possibility of damage existence and mode shape increment. A numerical model of a simply supported steel beam is applied to demonstrate this method by imposing damage through thickness reduction of elements in segments. In addition, a parametric analysis is carried out to evaluate noise effect by considering varying damage severities and different noise levels. The results showed that this method is simple and provides considerable accurate results.  相似文献

The appropriate interfacial contact and charges transfer mode of heterojunction photocatalysts were critical for high-efficiency hydrogen production. Inter-step mode heterojunction composite had advantages of enhanced visible-light response, improved charge space separation rate, increased electron utilization, which could also protect catalyst anode from photocorrosion. Zinc-vacancy-rich ZnS decorated CdS heterojunction photocatalyst with inter-step mode was constructed in order to fundamentally enhance photocatalytic performance and overcome photocorrosion of CdS. The charge transfer mode was modulated from pervasive type-II to bran-new inter-step mode by defect engineering. Zinc vacancies functioned as acceptor level for charge separation and up-shifted conduction and valance band energy of ZnS. The defective engineered CdS/ZnS heterojunction displayed a reduced over-potential and enhanced photocatalytic activity. The optimal photocatalytic hydrogen production rate for CdS/ZnS reached 42.1 mmol?g?1 under visible light without any co-catalyst. An apparent quantum yield (AQY) of 38.75% at 450 nm was achieved, which was 269.3 and 71.9 times higher than pristine zinc-vacancy-rich ZnS and CdS, respectively. Meanwhile, holes aggregated on the surface of CdS were blocked and the oxidation corrosion process was suppressed. The charge transfer mechanism and kinetics of charge transfer and separation in inter-step mode heterojunction photocatalysts were investigated and discussed. This work will accelerate practical applications of photocatalysis with inter-step mode and give deep insights into understanding how inherent acceptor levels play a role in designing defect-engineered semiconductor with enhanced photocatalytic performance.  相似文献

This paper addresses reliable and efficient calculation of the mode of a multivariate sample, which is a classical fusion function. In particular, we focus on the inputs given on the unit simplex, when aggregating elements of Atanassov intuitionistic fuzzy sets, interval-valued fuzzy sets and their extensions, as well as compositional data. We outline the use of a specially designed 2-additive fuzzy measures and the Choquet integral for the purposes of reducing computational complexity in higher dimensions. In this article, a model reduction technique is presented to solve nonlinear multiscale parabolic problems using dynamic mode decomposition. The multiple scales and nonlinearity bring great challenges for simulating the problems. To overcome this difficulty, we develop a model reduction method for the nonlinear multiscale dynamic problems by integrating constraint energy minimizing generalized multiscale finite element method (CEM-GMsFEM) with dynamic mode decomposition (DMD). CEM-GMsFEM has shown great efficiency to solve linear multiscale problems in a coarse space. However, using CEM-GMsFEM to directly solve multiscale nonlinear parabolic models involves dynamically computing the residual and the Jacobian on a fine grid. This may be very computationally expensive because the evaluation of the nonlinear term is implemented in a high-dimensional fine scale space. As a data-driven method, DMD can use observation data and give an explicit expression to accurately describe the underlying nonlinear dynamic system. To efficiently compute the multiscale nonlinear parabolic problems, we propose a CEM-DMD model reduction by combing CEM-GMsFEM and DMD. The CEM-DMD reduced model is a coarsen linear model, which avoids the nonlinear solver in the fine space. It is crucial to judiciously choose observation in DMD. Only proper observation can render an accurate DMD model. In the context of CEM-DMD, we introduce two different observations: fine scale observation and coarse scale observation. In the construction of DMD model, the coarse scale observation requires much less computation than the fine scale observation. The CEM-DMD model using the coarse scale observation gives a complete coarse model for the nonlinear multiscale dynamic systems and significantly improves the computation efficiency. To show the performance of the CEM-DMD using the different observations, we present a few numerical results for the nonlinear multiscale parabolic problems in heterogeneous porous media.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

In this paper, two control schemes for boost converters affected by uncertainties in input voltage and load are proposed. The boost converter dynamics is redefined in terms of new state variables to facilitate the use of a disturbance observer that can estimate matched and unmatched disturbances. A sliding surface, which is new in the context of boost converters, is proposed to enable tracking and regulation of output voltage without requiring measurement of input voltage and load current. The stability of the overall system including the disturbance observer, the sliding variable and the output is proved. The performance of the schemes is assessed for regulation of output voltage and tracking of reference voltage by simulation as well as experimentation in which various types of uncertainties and various types of reference voltages are considered.  相似文献

在传统的三段式继电保护离线整定的定值性能分析过程中,常因定值选择不合理而导致定值计算准确度低。为此,在确定影响分支系数大小的因素的基础上,将分支系数看作为预计算变量,建立故障分析模型,计算三段式继电保护过程后备保护定值;设定三段式继电保护离线整定定值优化约束条件,采用滑膜变结构控制方法设定控制策略,结合惩罚函数的形式将约束条件添加到目标函数中,将定值性能分析问题转化为无约束优化问题,实现基于滑模变结构控制的三段式继电保护离线整定的定值性能分析。实验结果表明,相比于传统方法,该方法的定值准确度更高,定值性能更好。  相似文献
